Selma, Frida and Pil wake up at Trixter's and he shows them that Julius's sleigh is with him. In the antique shop, Ruth feels that she is going completely coo-coo. She is happy when a lady calls who wants to buy.

In Snøfall, Julius is approached by the Oracle and he goes wild with excitement when the Oracle tells him who the new apprentice will be. His secretary, Winter, is convinced that he will be the new apprentice. Ruth wants to sell the antique shop. A man from Children’s Best arrives who says that they have now found a family for Selma.

Winter becomes so angry that he didn't become the new apprentice that he goes into The Dark to be filled with evil. In Snofall, Selma and Julius get to know each other better.

Selma dreams that she has a real family that she doesn't know about. We also see a completely different universe, Snøfall, a small village that lies by itself in an icy wasteland. Here we meet Julius, who is Santa Claus himself!

Ruth inherits an antique shop and Selma thinks it's absolutely fantastic. Ruth says it's just old stuff and junk there. Selma meets Håkon, who has just moved into the apartment building, together with his dad, Kjell. Håkon believes in Santa Claus and Selma is inspired to write a Christmas letter in which she wishes for a real family.

Today is the annual Christmas party, but Winter announces that it will be turned into a meeting, just for the adults. Selma and Pil sneak into the meeting. They must find out who the new apprentice is!

Selma walks all day along the expanse and finally she sees light far ahead. She has made it to Snofall. At home, Ruth is upset when she thinks that Children's Best has picked up Selma without giving notice.
