Deirdre returns home. She's angry when Tracy tells her about the row and confronts Ken. He tells her he realises he's lost her. Mavis tells Derek she doesn't want him to go to Darlington. Mavis then tells Derek she's going to Darlington with him and Angela. Kevin takes paternity leave from the garage and Mark isn't pleased. Rita is astounded when Reg makes a play for her. Tracy apologies to Ken and Curly decides he's never going to get anywhere with Kimberley so he'll break the engagement.

Rita tries to avoid Reg, but Reg sends her flowers. Rita finally blows her top when Vera tells her she knows she's going out with Reg. Derek fears that Mavis will lose him Angela's contract, but Mavis decides not to go to Darlington at the last minute. The Webster's can't believe that Davis sleeps all the time. Des plans to go to the Boat Show and Derek clinches the deal with Angela.

Coronation Street - Season 32 - Episode 157

Steve McDonald finds he can do nothing right ever since Andy's beating. Jim tells him to get lost from the motorcycle shop after a bike Steve had been working on proved to have a loose bolt in the braking system. Vicky longs to get away for a while, and is surprised when Bet offers to pay her taxi fare to go see her horse, Saracen. While waiting for her taxi, she sees Steve, and after hearing of his woes, invites him along. Later, in order to justify staying away with Steve, she phones Bet with a story about being invited to her friend Belinda's for a New Year's Eve party. The ruse works, until Belinda herself phones the Rovers to wish Vicky a happy new year. The McDonalds become frantic about Steve's whereabouts. Curly very reluctantly agrees to meet Angie and Des in the Rovers. Angie has arranged a blind date for Curly, who turns out to be none other than Raquel Wolstenhulme, whom Curly has not seen for seven months (since episode 3224, transmitted on Friday 10 May 1991, to be exact). Ken and Alma check in at the Cotswold hotel, but Alma seems very distant, and at dinner foolishly confesses what had happened at Christmas with Mike. Ken is shaken, and says he needs a few minutes on his own, but goes to the room, packs his bags, and checks out, leaving Alma in the dining room as the clock chimes midnight.

Coronation Street - Season 35 - Episode 9

Mark tells Mike he doesn't want to go on the skiing trip to Austria anymore. Reg is upset to find no one has prepared a farewell party for him on his last day at Bettabuy but is delighted when he hears Lord Morgan is coming to the store, thinking that its to say a special goodbye to him. Curly panics and gets the staff to set up a special garden furniture display. Kevin feels there must have been something between Sally and Joe. He tells her it's obvious she cares more about Joe's feelings than his and is upset she never told him about Joe's declaration until six months afterwards. Curly and the staff give Maureen a send-off. Lord Morgan presents Reg with a £200 Bettabuy voucher for the garden furniture they can't sell as well as a picture of head office and tells Curly that the new area manager is Elaine Fenwick. Curly is stunned. Sally swears to Kevin that she's told Joe she'll never see him again.

Coronation Street - Season 35 - Episode 24

Maud feels she really does not want to leave her house to live in a converted garage. When the buyers, Mr and Mrs Magill, turn up to take measurements she tells them the house has been sold. The Gazette prints the story of the burglary at Weatherfield Comprehensive but Derek's name isn't mentioned. Mr and Mrs Magill complain to the Holdsworths who promise to sort Maud out. Ken hears that Fiona has been asking questions about him and tells her it's none of her business how old he is. Business is bad for Steve so he has to borrow money in order to give Mike the rent on the print shop. Tanya is furious when her lover, Alex Christie, drinks in the Rovers. He is equally angry that one of his workers - Des - is often in the pub and she didn't warn him. Des persists in asking Raquel out, asking her to break her date with Erik Mikaelson. He promises her he'll never use her again. She realises he is serious about her and agrees to dump Erik. Furious at Fiona, Denise apologises to Ken for her behaviour. He is flattered that she thinks he looks good for his age. She is amazed when he asks her out for a meal. Reg rows with Maud but she begs him to see she wants to stay in her house. She tells him she's sold the house to Weatherfield Financial Services on the understanding that she can live in it, with an income, until she dies. Maureen is horrified as she's the one who's been paying the mortgage for years even though the deeds were in Maud's name alone.

Coronation Street - Season 35 - Episode 25

Maureen and Reg are devastated by Maud's move and Maureen threatens to fight her in court. Tanya is upset that she can only see Alex Christie when he escapes from his wife. He promises her a trip to Amsterdam. Reg is horrified to find Maud sold the house for £10,000 less than the Magills had offered. He tries to stall Rita on buying her house but she refuses, telling him that she's going to put it back on the market. Reg discovers a section in the contract saying Maud can change her mind before twenty-one days. He determines to get Maud to change her mind. When Maud refuses to tear the contract up, Maureen threatens to leave home. Maureen accuses her of ruining her happiness. Reg encourages Maureen to stand against Maud and helps her pack. They move into his flat at No.12. Raquel feels she might be moving in with Des soon. Denise is aghast when Ken takes her to the Over 60's Club for a joke. He then takes her to a pub where she tells him her life story. Ivy asks Curly to take Vera back on at Bettabuy but he refuses. Raquel mentions to Des that she'd like to move in and is upset when he cools.

Ken and Denise have a wonderful night together. Reg accuses Percy of persuading Maud not to sell her house so he can get his hands on it. He calls him a gold digger. Percy assures Maureen that he is not after Maud's money. Reg is horrified to learn Percy is related to Kevin, he fears Maud will leave the house to Percy who'll leave it to Kevin. Fiona seeks a £2,000 loan so she can buy into EnviroSphere. Denise talks her out of it. Raquel misses Des and feels sorry for him stuck in Newcastle. Derek realises he's been a mug buying Norris' car. Denise tells him to stay away from Fiona. Mavis gets upset when the residents gossip about Derek taking money from kids. Derek's car needs a new carburettor. Mavis feels like an outcast in the Street, she rows with Derek for taking advantage of their friends. He admits that he feels a failure. Ken tells Denise he wants to see more of her but she asks him not to take her for granted.

Maud is pleased when Maureen agrees to go with her to Normandy to look after her. Denise feels that she'll never finish the book. Fiona suggests she gets the video out. Reg refuses to allow Maureen to go to France as he needs her at the shop. Raquel is thrilled when Des tells her that he's not going to Newcastle - he's taking her to the Cotswolds, having arranged with Bet for her to have the weekend off. Tanya and Alex go to Amsterdam, Raquel sees them leave and recognises Alex. She is thrilled to know the identity of the mystery man. Maud gets Reg to change his mind by telling him of all her munitions pals who died in the War. Ken is amused when Denise confesses to watching Tess. Bet is livid to catch regulars drinking Charlie's lager in the Rovers. Des and Raquel set off for their trip. Bet rows with Charlie for selling the lager to Reg, explaining that she hates dishonesty. He walks out, accusing her of being a hypocrite; she's just the same as the rest of them.
