#2 - Mother and Daughter Dispute

After causing such controversy in court, Tae Rim loses all of his clients. To return the deposits his clients had given him, he sells off his assets. Even with his reputation damaged, he gets a 14-year-old actress, Yoo Ha Rin, as his client. Ha Rin claims that her mother psychologically abuses her and wishes to cut ties with her mother once and for all. #3 - Jae In Gets Hired by Tae Rim

Jae In is desperate to get Tae Rim to work on her friend’s case because no one else is willing to. Instead of getting paid for the case, Mr. Gu requests Tae Rim to hire Jae In for the foreseeable future. The case goes well until Tae Rim meets his mentee, Kang Gi Seok. Due to this loss, he is in a state of confusion.
#4 - Jae In Takes the Lead

While packing things at the office, Jae In finds a document Tae Rim worked on before. The case is about a leak by a chemical company that made the nearby residents sick. One of the victims of the unfortunate incident is Yoo Ra. Meanwhile, Tae Rim and Jae In accept a new client who is known as the witch of the century. Yoon Do Hee is accused of poisoning her boyfriend and has been sentenced to death in the first trial. Gi Seok, after a series of fights against Tae Rim, realises working for a law firm is not his style and resigns from B and G Law Firm.

#6 - Tae Rim's First Loss
Season 1 - Episode 13 - Aired 3/22/2019
With fabricated evidence and witnesses, the prosecution has the upper hand. Tae Rim still has not given up and is trying his best to get his client acquitted. His plan, however, gets ruined when his client goes against Tae Rim’s instructions and confesses to the court of her alleged crime. With this, the court rules in favour of the prosecution and Tae Rim faces his first loss. Now, in order to protect his record, he must take this case to the Supreme Court.
#7 - Another Chemical Leak

There has been another series of victims that suffer from Hankang New Materials’ chemical leak. One of the residents visits Tae Rim to represent the village and file a lawsuit against the factory. Tae Rim, however, does not wish to take the case and lets Jae In, who is eager to represent them, handle the case on her own. Meanwhile, Tae Rim finds out about Jae In’s dad and her relationship with Judge Song.

#12 - Tae Rim Gets Fired

Even though Tae Rim overturns the case at the Supreme Court, his client decides to fire him. Although it is just a suspicion, Tae Rim and Jae In suspect Gi Seok has convinced Do Hee. Tae Rim plans to reveal Do Hee’s truth, so she has no option but to hire Tae Rim back. In order to win, Jae In must make a hard decision.
